Originally from Colorado, Dr. Watterson obtained her degree in veterinary medicine from Colorado State University.  Upon graduation, she completed a yearlong internship at a specialty referral hospital in Los Angeles.  She then relocated to Washington and has called it home ever since.    Dr. Watterson’s primary focus is always to provide the best individualized care possible for each of her patients.  She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and has special interest in preventative care, chronic disease management, and laboratory diagnostics.  When not seeing patients, Dr. Watterson enjoys Eventing with her horse “Townes,” hanging out with her dog “Halo” and cat “Jule,” and when the snow flies, it is likely that she can be found skiing on a mountain somewhere.
